Carol & Lewis

Carol has been working with needles since she was a young girl.

Her family says "give Carol a needle and she works wonders."

Among her other hobbies are knitting, cross stitch, clothing construction and cooking.

Carol loves teaching classes. 

She feels it is so rewarding to help others join in the piecing and quilting world.
Carol takes special care to see that the students know about fabric.
A trip to the fabric shop is always offered in order to help select the
correct color combination for the quilts.

Carol and her husband Luis have one daughter Carrie. 
 Carrie does not quilt but loves the quilts her mother makes for her.

Retreats is another service that she enjoys. 
Having her own retreats and going to retreats with friends and family
are always high on her list of things to do.
Luis is very supportive of Carol’s Quilting he always comes along to the retreats
to help everyone get their machines, fabrics and luggage into the B&B. 
And when the ladies are all finished with their new quilt blocks and all tired out from a wonderful time at retreat, there he is!!! Right back to help
everyone pack up the cars for the return trip home.

Her "Long-Arm quilting" business has been a joy.
She enjoys meeting people and has made many friends through the contacts she has made.

Carol has won several awards for her quilting skills.

In 2006 she won first place at the Pennsylvania Farm Show for her Baltimore Album Quilt.

Carol is also an LPN
